Clare is a trial attorney with more than 29 years of experience handling the defense of a wide array of cases throughout Texas. She has represented major corporations in a wide variety of industries including financial institutions, commercial businesses, oil and gas companies, healthcare facilities, energy and utility companies, sporting goods companies, refineries, and automobile dealerships. She has experience in both state and federal courts and has tried cases ranging from simple automobile accidents to complex multi-party cases.
Clare has extensive experience representing insurance companies and their insureds, as well as other self-insured corporate and individual clients in cases involving construction litigation, foreclosure matters, probate litigation, first and third-party claims, premises liability litigation, products liability litigation, general commercial litigation, and automobile/trucking litigation. She is an accomplished litigator who is adept at handling cases in state and federal courts from inception of the case through trial. She is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and the U.S. Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of Texas.
Outside of the courtroom, Clare is an active member of the community. She is currently an active member of the Yellow Rose Chapter of the National Charity League and serves as the philanthropy liaison for MESA Outreach in Northwest Houston. She previously served as the philanthropy liaison for the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, the Pearl Fincher Museum and Abandoned Animal Rescue (AAR). She is also a Lifetime Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and currently serves on the Agriculture Education Committee.
She is a former Girl Scout Community Leadership Team member and a former Girl Scout troop leader. She has also held numerous board positions with various Parent Teacher Organizations, including Vice President-Membership, Vice President - Fundraising and most recently, President and Immediate Past President. Clare and her husband, Tom, have two daughters and reside in Houston, Texas.
